Configure Meta Lead Ads

Meta Lead Ads imports submissions from selected Meta instant forms. It is separate from Meta Conversions API, which sends CRM outcome events in the opposite direction.

  1. Open Integrations from the main navigation.
  2. Find Meta Lead Ads and select Setup.
  3. Select Connect Meta and complete authorization.
  4. Choose the permitted Business and Facebook Page.
  5. Subscribe the selected Page.
  6. Open Map Forms and select the instant forms to sync.
  7. Return to the integration catalog and enable Meta Lead Ads when setup is complete.

Map Meta form fields to Convertly contact, lead, or custom fields. Confirm at least enough identity data to create or match a lead.

For each form, optionally configure:

  • Approved lead source
  • Stage
  • Owner
  • Value
  • Categories
  • Custom-field defaults
  • New Lead Alert recipients

Lead Defaults are off initially for Meta form mappings. Turning them off does not disable the form’s alert-recipient selection.

With no selected New Lead Alert recipients, that Meta form sends no source-level new-lead alert. A configured owner can still receive assignment notification.

Use the local test-lead action in the form mapping workflow. It exercises Convertly mapping and lead creation without claiming to submit a real lead through Meta’s live systems.

Open the resulting lead and check field mapping, source, owner, value, categories, custom fields, and Meta attribution context.

The integration card shows its current status and configuration summary. Open Logs from the card or setup page to review ingestion activity, recent sync state, latest successful lead, and latest error when a known Meta submission is missing.

Disabling Meta Lead Ads preserves its saved configuration but stops new imports. Disconnecting a Page or Meta Lead Ads does not clear Meta Conversions API configuration. Confirm before disabling or disconnecting because new form submissions will stop importing.
